Ideal Candidate
high-net-worth French-speaking investors


The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP)  reopened on January 1, 2024, with new requirements:

  • Management Experience: At least 2 years of eligible management experience within the 5 years prior to applying.
  • Net Worth: A legally acquired personal or family net worth of $2 million CAD.
  • Education:  A minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Language Proficiency: French oral proficiency of level 7 or higher.
  • Investment:

  1.  A $200,000 CAD contribution to the Quebec government.
  2. A $1,000,000 CAD investment in a Quebec government bond, which is interest-free and repaid after 5 years.

  • Residency Requirement: Within 2 years of the work permit issuance, applicants must fulfill a 12-month residency requirement in Quebec. The main applicant must reside for at least 6 months; the spouse can fulfill the other 6 months.




Popular PNP BUSINESS ENTREPRENEUR Programs

The Entrepreneur Immigration Regional Stream is a pathway to permanent residence for experienced entrepreneurs who want to start a new business in a smaller community in British Columbia. The program requires applicants to first get a referral from one of the participating communities.


Key Requirements:

  • Secure a referral from a participating B.C. community.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of business management experience.
  • Have a personal net worth of at least $300,000 CAD.
  • Invest a minimum of $100,000 CAD in the new business.
  • Create at least one new full-time job for a Canadian or permanent resident.
  • Achieve a minimum language proficiency of CLB 4 in English or French.

Federal immigration programs for Business Entrepreneur

The Canadian Startup program, administered by the federal government, facilitates immigration for entrepreneurs initiating or relocating businesses in Canada, focusing on job creation. Tailored for innovators, this program considers factors like business innovation, job potential, and global scalability. It applies to all provinces except Quebec and necessitates a support letter from approved Canadian organizations, such as incubators or investors, which our licensed immigration office assists applicants in obtaining.

Self-Employed immigration program

Canada's Self-Employed Persons Program offers a pathway for eligible self-employed foreign nationals with experience in cultural activities or athletics to attain permanent residency in Canada. 

As per the Canadian government, a self-employed person is a foreign national with relevant experience and the intent and capability to be self-employed in Canada, contributing significantly to specified economic activities in the country. 


A key benefit of this program is that it doesn't mandate education and language qualifications for approval.


Minimum Eligibility Requireemnt

  • Self-employed experience 2 out of the last 5 years (non-consecutive possible);
  • Obtain minimum points threshold based on the age, work experience, education, and language;
  • Provide a business plan on setting up a business in the same field in Canada (our office will provide the information to help you prepare this plan);
  • Prove recognition or world-class activity within your profession in the country you are working (i.e. media and industry recognition, prizes, awards, international event participation, etc).
